Adult Services
| The
Tenafly Public Library's circulation system is completely computerized and
integrated with the BCCLS system, giving patrons almost instant electronic
access to the resources of all BCCLS libraries; therefore, our Library can
immediately locate books in another member library and ascertain the
availability status. You can then go to that library and check the books
out. Or, if you prefer, our staff will happily secure any item for you and
notify you of its arrival at the Tenafly Library. This service is for
Tenafly residents only. You can also order items on the WEB at BCCLS.org.

For complete information on reserves, ask at the main desk. Music Box A constantly expanding collection of CDs makes the Tenafly Public Library's Music Department one of the finest in Bergen County. CDs and cassettes range from symphonies, operas, show tunes and rock... to poetry, language skills, novels and instructional subjects. DVD Collection The Library has a collection of over 2,900 DVDs, including feature films, as well as art, music, science, health, exercise, history, Shakespeare and foreign films. Borrowers from the adult collection must be at least 18 years old. Children's DVDs (and videocassettes) may be borrowed on juvenile cards. Internet Access The Tenafly Public Library welcomes you to access the Internet and its wealth of resources. The Internet is available on 8 PCs. Information and resources on the Internet enhance and go beyond those already held in the Library. Through the BCCLS website (BCCLS.org.) you may access a large selection of reference information. Although our staff cannot provide personalized instruction, formal instruction on Internet use is offered by volunteers at designated times. Please check at the front desk for details and instructions. New: Wireless Internet access is
