The Friends of the Tenafly Public Library is a voluntary, nonprofit organization of individuals and families committed to supporting the Library in its role as a center of learning and cultural events.  Thanks to membership contributions the Friends provide funds for a variety of community programs including concerts, lectures, and special children’s programs with outstanding performances. Check our seasonal brochures for upcoming events sponsored by the Friends.

The Friends also donate special gifts of books, media and equipment that augment the Library's collections and resources. Gifts include a Steinway Baby Grand piano that was originally owned by Chico Marx, and a large selection of DVDs by The Teaching Company.
