We love to create in the library!  Craft classes are not scheduled on a regular basis, but we do try to get some special crafts as well as other special events squeezed in throughout the year.  Watch here for upcoming crafts and special events or check our calendar of events for a complete list of programs and activities at the library.

July 21 - 3:00 p.m. - Superhero Key Chains

Craft class for ages 7+.  Use Fuse Beads and patterns we will provide to make a superhero key chain or create a totally unique key chain you design yourself.

July 31 - 11:00 a.m. - Paint a Rock

Craft class for ages 7+.  This is an opportunity to do a good deed and have fun at the same time.  A movement is gathering strength to brighten people's and teens are gathering ordinary stones and painting them with bright patterns or inspirational words and then leaving them along trails in parks, playgrounds, or other places.  The idea being that if someone is having a hard day or feeling tired, they may see these spots of color, whimsical designs, or positive words and get a lift.  We'll provide rocks and paints, it's up to you if you keep the stone, pass it on, or place it somewhere around town to brighten someone else's day.
